Statement Of Enlightenment Regarding Processing Of Personal Data

Smartcon Dış Ticaret Pazarlama ve Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi (“Smartcon”) shows the necessary care to your personal data. This Statement of Enlightenment Regarding Processing of Personal Data aims to inform you regarding our processing activities within the scope of article 10 of Turkish Law on Protection of Personal Data (“Law”).

Personal Data Types Being Collected and Collection Method

In case you purchase any product/service from Smartcon or you communicate with Smartcon’s authorized persons or employees for such purchase or Smartcon purchases any product/service from you, Smartcon may process your name, surname, contact information (phone number, e-mail address) and financial information. Your personal data may be collected in written, verbal or electronic environment.

Purposes of Processing of Personal Data

We process your personal data in accordance with article 5 of the Law for the following purposes: (i) to provide you with our products/services; (ii) to obtain products/services from you; (iii) to perform Smartcon’s contractual liabilities under the respective agreements; (iv) to perform Smarton’s legal liabilities and (v) for possible legitimate purposes of Smartcon.

Third Parties to Which We May Transfer Your Personal Data

When required for the below mentioned purposes, we may transfer your personal data to business partners, suppliers, customers settled in Turkey and/or outside of Turkey or to authorized institutions in accordance with article 8 and 9 of the Law: (i) to provide you with our products/services; (ii) to obtain products/services from you; (iii) to perform Smartcon’s contractual liabilities under the respective agreements; (iv) to perform Smarton’s legal liabilities and (v) for possible legitimate purposes of Smartcon.

Legal Cause of Processing of Personal Data

Your personal data are processed according to following legal causes stated in the Law: (i) cases where processing of personal data is stated under the laws, (ii) cases where processing of personal data is required for execution or performance of a contract and (iii) cases where processing of personal data is required for legitimate purposes of Smartcon.

Rights of Data Subjects

As data subjects, you may exercise the below mentioned rights. For such purpose, please submit your written request to [email protected]. Smartcon will review your request and respond to you within maximum 30 days.

Right to acknowledge whether the personal data is processed,

Right to request information on the matter, if the personal data is processed,

Right to acknowledge the purpose of processing of personal data and whether the personal data is used in accordance with such purpose,

Right to know the third parties to which the personal data are transmitted domestically or in abroad,

If the personal data is processed wrongfully or deficiently, right to request for correction of the personal data and to request notification of the transaction performed in this respect to third parties, to which personal data is transferred,

Right to request for deletion or disposal of the personal data,

Right to object to occurrence of a circumstance against the interest of the data subject, which came to existence as a result of analyzing the processed data exclusively by automatic systems,

Right to request for compensation for the damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data.
